The Yvelines,
as a department, has a privileged geographical situation:
East of Paris, close to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.
Its west border runs alongside Normandy, Chartres
neighbouring countryside and the Loire Valley. Visitors can
easily travel through the department owing to its wide
communication network.
Besides a great variety of sites – some very prestigious and
others not so famous –the Yvelines is a place where
visitors can stroll through vast forests and regional nature
parks, along the River Seine and many other brooks.
There are also many economic sites telling about the
National Heritage and former technics and activities.
The Yvelines ,with its specific regions among which The
Vexin ,the Beauce and the Seine Valley, is a country of
exceptional quality and variety of soil, products and
skills…
